Eric J. Zahler
Chairman of the Board
Eric Zahler currently serves as managing director of Sagamore Capital Group LLC, a private equity firm he co-founded in 2008 that pursues direct investments in the aerospace/defense, industrial electronics and certain business service markets.
Prior to establishing Sagamore, Mr. Zahler served as president and chief operating officer of Loral Space & Communications, Inc., a satellite communications company with activities in satellite manufacturing and services. He also served as a senior member of Loral's management, including as senior vice president, general counsel, secretary and, subsequently, executive vice president. Before joining Loral, Zahler spent 17 years with the law firm Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson, where he was a partner and represented many of the nation's largest defense and aerospace contractors.
He received a B.S. in mathematics, cum laude, from Yale University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he was editor of the Harvard Journal on Legislation.

James W. Cuminale

James W. Cuminale is currently chief legal officer of The Nielsen Company.
Prior to joining Nielsen, Cuminale served as the executive vice president of corporate development, general counsel and secretary of PanAmSat Corporation. During his tenure there, Mr. Cuminale negotiated and managed the company's customer contracts, which represented a backlog of $5.1 billion. He was also responsible for the company's regulatory affairs, including spectrum management and licensing and regulatory compliance with the Federal Communications Commission and other regulatory agencies around the world. Prior to joining PanAmSat, Mr. Cuminale was a partner at Ivey, Barnum & O'Mara.
Mr. Cuminale holds a B.A. in history from Trinity College and earned his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School.

Lt. Gen (Ret) Michael Hamel
Board Member
Lt. Gen (Ret) Michael Hamel currently serves as senior vice president of corporate strategy and development at Orbital Sciences Corp., where he is responsible for leading corporate strategic initiatives in space, missile markets and business areas.
Prior to joining Orbital, Lt. Gen Hamel was commander of the Air Force Space Command's Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) and Air Force Program Executive Officer (PEO) for Space. Hamel managed research, development and acquisition of the country's primary portfolio of military space and missile programs, with an annual budget in excess of $10 billion.
He holds a B.S. in aeronautical engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy and an M.A. in business administration from California State University. Lt. Gen Hamel is also a graduate of the Industrial College of the Armed Forces and the National and International Security Programs at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. Hamel is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and is an Associate Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

Bo C. Johanson
Board Member
Bo C. Johanson currently serves as chief financial officer at Swedish Space Corporation (SSC). Mr Johanson holds numerous assignments within his organization, including board chairman for subsidiary companies, LSE Space Engineering & Operations AG, Germany and SSC Chile SA; and director of SSC subsidiaries ECAPS and NanoSpace. Mr. Johanson originally joined SSC as a group controller and has been with the company for over 25 years.
Prior to SSC, Mr. Johanson was with the Royal Institute of Technology and the Swedish Ministry of Industry.
He holds an MSc in electrical engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and an MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics.

Lars Persson
Board Member
Lars Persson currently serves as president and CEO of Swedish Space Corporation (SSC), where he is responsible for overall management and setting the strategic priorities of the organization.
Prior to joining SSC, Mr. Persson held several high-profile positions, including CEO of Marratech AB and chairman of Marratech, Inc.; CEO of Telenor in Sweden; senior advisor of Telenor in Norway; CEO and board member at CellPoint, Inc., in London; CEO of France Telecom Nordic (later Global One, Nordic) and CEO of GPI Sweden AB.
Mr. Persson received his MSc in industrial engineering and management from the Institute of Technology at Linköping University (1975-1980) and Mergers & Acquisitions from INSEAD (1999).
